大陸湖北一家教育機構招聘英語老師和行政人員，對學歷沒有要求，卻開出條件，聲明星座是天蠍和處女的人不予應試，而魔羯、天秤和雙魚者則優先予試，引發職場歧視的爭議。

這家機構在中國地質大學老漢口校區，負責人表示，基於她對星座的研究，天蠍座的人個性強勢，說翻臉就翻臉，而處女座則是相當挑剔，不容易長久任職於同一個崗位。

報導認為這樣的招聘條件和解釋令人啼笑皆非，但這卻並不是大陸企業第一次出現這樣特殊的徵才考量條件。 舉凡生肖和血型都曾在大陸企業徵才時所列出的條件範圍裡，但卻違背大陸「勞動法」的平等就業精神。

(Local) Mainland China Company Hires by Selecting Zodiac Signs

An educational institution in Hubei was recruiting English teachers and administration staff. They had no qualification requirements but said that people who were Scorpio and Virgo should not apply for the position, and people who were Capricorn, Libra, and Pisces would be given priority. This created disputes in terms of workplace discrimination.

This institution is located in the Lao Han Kou campus of China University of Geosciences. The owner says, from her research on zodiac signs, Scorpios have strong personalities and can get angry rather easily. As for Virgos, they are very picky and it is difficult for them to stay in the same position for long.

The report believes that the recruitment requirements and explanation are ridiculous, however, this is not the first time Chinese companies have had special recruitment requirements. Zodiac signs and blood types have both appeared in the Chinese company recruitment criteria, but have violated the notion of equal employment opportunity within Chinas Labor Laws.
