(國際)融冰造成多瑙河冰混亂

在塞爾維亞首都貝爾格萊德的多瑙河上，快速融化的冰已經造成混亂。融冰損壞了船、浮橋和水上餐廳。

週日貝爾格萊德的天氣開始回暖，使得多瑙河上的冰融化。河上的船撞在一起，但幸好沒有人受傷。船主也救不了他們的船，因為融冰移動得非常迅速。所有損失加起來預計有幾十萬歐元。

停泊在碼頭的100艘船當中，只有少數保持完好。沿著河好幾百米遠的碎冰上都遍布著船的殘骸。緊急救援人員說，幸好融化的冰對橋樑不構成任何風險，也沒有洪水的威脅。

多瑙河全長2860公里，流經9個國家。它從奧地利到黑海之間都已經凍結了。在某些區域，冰層厚度更超過了30公分。貝爾格萊德居民Miroslave Jagas說，他們已經有很長一段時間沒有見過這樣冰凍的天氣了。在過去幾個星期，塞爾維亞至少有20人被凍死。

(International)Melting Ice Causes Danube Ice Chaos

A very quick melting of the ice has caused chaos on the Danube River in the Serbian capital Belgrade. Melting ice damaged boats, pontoons, and floating restaurants.

It started to warm up in Belgrade on Sunday and this made the ice on the Danube melt. Boats crashed into each other but luckily no one was hurt. Boat owners could not save their boats because the melting ice moved very quickly. The damage is expected to add up to hundreds of thousands of euros.

Of 100 boats moored in the marina only a few remain undamaged. Broken pieces of boats were scattered on the breaking ice for hundreds of meters along the river. The emergency services said that the melting ice is, luckily, not a risk to bridges and there is no threat of flooding.

The Danube flows 2,860km through nine countries. It has been frozen from Austria to the Black Sea. The ice was more than 30cm thick in places. Belgrade resident, Miroslave Jagas, said that they had not seen freezing weather like this for a long time. At least 20 people have died of cold in Serbia in the last few weeks.
